Putin signed the ‘annexation’ of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant in an illegitimate move with severe repercussions for the international community.

As some analysts consider a possible strike from Zaporhzhia to cut off Russian supply lines, Putin’s move to take control of the power plant entrenched Russia’s position in the dangerous region, establishing the power plant as a potential point of contention.
