Ukrainian forces have continued their advances in Kherson, debilitating Russia’s logistics and command infrastructure amidst waning Russian morale.
Though some Russian units have offered stiff resistance to Ukrainian advances, at times stopping and even temporarily regaining ground, others have refused to fight, citing horrible conditions amidst Russia’s serious resupply issues.
As more details are published on the Ukrainian side, a clearer picture of the battlefield emerges – a slow, grinding war of attrition as Ukraine’s rocket artillery and drone attacks continue to disable Russia’s infrastructure in the region. Military analysts believe that though developments in Kherson may come slowly, Ukraine will gradually gain momentum at a rate that could fluctuate rapidly per potential Russian mishaps.
