Russo-Ukrainian War 9/26/22

Ukrainian military officials have hinted at the important role captured equipment from Kharkiv will play, giving credence to the potential for an armored advance in Zaporizhzhia. With ongoing referendums there and across occupied Ukraine, some sources have claimed the Kremlin could move to annex proxies by September 30th.

With Russian conscription efforts reportedly going poorly amidst shortages of essential supplies (not including military equipment), news of large-scale mobilizations has not caused significant turmoil in Ukraine. Of greater concern have been Iranian kamikaze drones, which have been used in daily attacks in southern Ukraine. However, air defenses in Odesa have been able to down several targets, and though some buildings have been damaged, the recent promise of NASAMS underscores the constant improvement of Ukrainian air defense coverage.

In Kryvyvi Rih airport, Russian missilery cratered the runway and destroyed administrative buildings.
