Combat near Kyiv has begun to escalate as fears of a false-flag operation involving Chernobyl grew. The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported that Putin had ordered a terrorist attack on the plant to implicate Ukraine and respond with weapons of mass destruction. Recently, the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations confirmed that there was a significant likelihood that Putin would order the use of chemical weapons for assassinations and the targetting of civilians.
As the convoy near Kyiv has largely dispersed into the woods nearby, it is theorized that they may be lying in wait to assault Kyiv after the deployment of a WMD, whether nuclear or chemical. Many worry that an attack will come on the 18th of March, a symbolic day for Putin as the anniversary of the illegal annexation of Crimea.
Another false-flag operation was carried out today to force Belarus into the war. A Russian jet, operating from within Ukrainian territory, allegedly targeted three settlements in Belarus. So far, Belarus’ military has shown little motivation to join the war. Even though orders were received from Lukashenko to integrate into Russian military units at the start of the war, there have been numerous high-level resignations in the Belarusian army. Moreover, compared to Russia, the Belarus military has little practical experience in any form of combat. The disaster Russia faces on the battlefield will be child’s play to the impending failure of the Belarusian invasion.
So far, it isn’t clear that Belarusian troops have invaded, despite the false-flag operation and claims that their invasion would occur at 9 pm. Whether this is due to lack of morale by Belarusian troops, a delay in operations, or even Lukashenka’s personal reluctance to commit his forces, remains to be seen.
Regarding military operations, Russian troops (primarily consisting of Donetsk People’s Republic forces) have taken the small city of Volnovakha, breaking a week-long stall in military advances. During the operation, Colonel Vladimir Zhoga, commander of the Sparta Battalion of the DNR, was killed.
